Bushy Skatepark, Dublin Ireland

Details

Completed: August 2006

Size: 9,000 square feet

Features: One main, medium height transition/bowl area partially divided by an easy to transfer spine. Plenty of hips to generate speed.

There is also a street skating area adjacent and around the bowl with low ledges, manual pad, and a beginner's grind bar. Pads required.

Design Notes

Bushy has a high speed bowl/snake setup that focuses speed lines on hips and spine for air transfer moves. The spine has a mellow landing side with 10' tranny. Most of the hips are sharp, but there is one rounded hip in the shallow end.One of the deep hips has a Temple Load flyout box on the deck for those who want to blast.

Be sensitive to the neighbors in these parts, they put up massive resistance to the skatepark, fearing noisy hooligans would ruin their lives. If we are always extra polite there, we can defuse the conflict.
