Design Notes:

Skatepark Committee President Scott Beckstead got himself elected Mayor in order to facilitate Council approval of the skatepark project. This was our first use of stamped concrete, acid stain and crenellations. The site was a swampy mess of muck when we first broke ground. Originally we installed a pipe jam on the upper deck. It was highly functional, but some of the local elders thought it resembled a phallus, so they chopped it off. You can still see its base. The Paraboloid is grindable, there are at least two lines for it. Someone needs to blast an air out of it!
